    A Russian news report on the crash shows footage of three mysterious lights moving in formation, leading to speculation in the UFO community that blame for the tragic accident may lie with an extra-terrestrial craft, reported the Daily Mail.

The news report suggests that the pilot may have been distracted by the object and complained to the control tower at Islamabad Airport as he made his approach. The official reason, however, is that the plane’s fuel tanks exploded mid-air during a heavy thunderstorm, killing all 127 people on board.
In a mayday call made moments before the disaster, the pilot reported that a fuel tank had caught fire and the plane was out of control.
He asked controllers at Islamabad’s Benazir Bhutto international airport for help as he prepared for an emergency landing, saying he could see the roofs of homes but not the runway.
The Civil Aviation Authority said the aircraft had been properly positioned as it began its approach, but suddenly descended to 200 feet while still flying at 300 miles an hour. It then descended 50 feet more before its tanks exploded.
Given the violent storm lashing Islamabad during the accident, some experts have speculated that ”wind shear”,’ sudden changes in wind that can lift or smash an aircraft into the ground during landing, may have been a factor.

ISLAMABAD: The Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) on Saturday issued a preliminary investigation report on the Bhoja Air plane crash, DawnNews reported.
According to the report, three minutes before the crash, the plane’s captain had informed the control tower that the plane was getting out of his control.
The report moreover said that the fuel tank of the plane had exploded.
The plane was flying at the altitude of 2,000 metres when it had last contacted the control tower.
Minutes prior to its planned landing at the Benazir Bhutto International Airport, the plane had been descending at a speed of 500 kilometres per hour before it eventually crashed, the report revealed.
The Bhoja Air passenger jet crashed on Friday as it tried to land in a thunderstorm at Islamabad’s main airport, killing all 127 people on board. The small domestic airline, which resumed operations in March after an 11-year pause, had said the weather was the cause.
Bhoja Air started domestic operations in Pakistan in 1993 and eventually expanded to international flights to the United Arab Emirates in 1998. The company suspended operations in 2001 due to financial difficulties but resumed them in 2012.

    A plane carrying 127 people on board has crashed a few miles away from islamabad's international airport in pakistan.It is feared that all on board have perished and from pictures and videos coming from the crash site it seems unlikely that anybody has survived the crash.It is quite early to suggest a reason for the crash but it seems that the bad weather around the area has been a contributing factor.Eyewitnesses have stated that the aircraft was on fire before it actually crashed.The accident has happened in a rural area,so more people may have lost their lives due to the crash.Bhoja Air is a small new commercial airline which was started about 10 years ago but closed because of financial difficulties. It recently re-opened.Last July, an Airbus A321 crashed as it was about to land in Islamabad, killing all 152 people on board.Story developing...

News: ATR-72 UTair Flight 120 Tyumen, Russia 2-4-2012

   The ATR-72  with 43 souls on-board had crashed just after take-off,killing 32 out of them.The crew attempted an emergency landing one mile from the airport but apparently failed as the aircraft crashed and caught fire immediately after hitting the ground hard.Circumstances of the crashes are still sketchy but the flight data recorders have been found and they should soon shed some light to what had actually brought down the rather safe french-italian made plane.All of the 11 survivors have sustained critical injuries and are in serious condition in a hospital at the city of Tyumen.UTair is a domestic Russian carrier with generally good safety record but a few notable incidents and accidents the last 6 years.Russia has a notoriously bad air accident record but it has shown signs of improvement.In September although, 44 people, including the entire Lokomotiv Yaroslavl ice hockey team, were killed in a plane crash that investigators found was caused by pilot error.

12-02-2012 Katanga Express Gulfstream IV crash,Congo(As usual)

Congo the lasts year is being considered as one of the most dangerous places on earth to be on a plane,that is according to crash statistics that are being published each year and clearly show what a mess is going on down there in Africa.This is just another crash added to that list and this time surprisingly it was operated under the Congo Government.The plane crashed while landing at the Kavumu Airport in Congo killing 3 out of the 6 occupants.The twin engine luxurious jet was carrying Government officials,one of them a presidential adviser was killed among with him the two pilots as well.The plane had touched down half-way through the runway so it was unable to stop on time and it fell down an embarkment and it broke in two parts.

First 2012 Fatal Accident:Carterton hot air balloon crash 7-Jan-2012

The first serious air accident in 2012 does not come from a plane not even a helicopter as someone would imagine but from a hot air ballon.Witnesses said that they saw the ballon hitting some 33kv subtransmission power lines causing the basket to catch fire.Making things worse two passengers in a shear fear for their lives jumped off the basket from an unspecified height resulting in fatal injuries(they were found 200 meters away from the accident site) as well as the other occupants who stayed and had the same luck as the ones that jumped.Except from the experienced pilot who had 10000hours in flying hot air balloons all of the passengers were just sightseers 8 of them being couples and the other 2 cousins.This is the second deadliest hot air ballon accident the first being in Australia killing also 13 people.

At least 44 people were killed when a Russian jet carrying hockey players to their first match of the season crashed on takeoff in the latest blow to the country’s tainted air safety record.

The Yak-42 passenger jet took off on Wednesday from Yaroslavl airport about 300 kilometres northeast of Moscow just as a two-day political forum expected to be attended by President Dmitry Medvedev got under way.

German news agency DPA quoted aviation officials as saying the plane struck a radio antenna beyond the runway.

A source told Interfax that the plane suddenly started listing to the left and crashed about 500 metres away from the Tunoshna airport.

‘‘According to the latest data, there were 45 people on board - 37 passengers and eight crew.

Forty-four people died in the crash and one person survived,’’ a police official told the RIA Novosti news agency.

DPA says the survivor was a member of the crew.

The local emergencies ministry said the jet was taking members of the Lokomotiv Yaroslavl ice hockey team to the Belarus capital Minsk for their first match of the 2011-12 season.

The team is trained by a Canadian national and has several foreign players on the roster posted on its website.

Two accidents involving Tu-134 and An-24 jets this northern summer that killed a total of 54 people prompted Medvedev to call for most of the aircraft to be retired by January 1 and the rest taken out in subsequent months.

The accidents have tarnished Medvedev’s vision of a modern Russia that he promotes in messages ahead of presidential elections next year that can be also contested by Vladimir Putin - his more nationalist mentor and prime minister.

But that move was followed by a series of smaller air accidents as well as a Volga River boat disaster that killed 122 people during a pleasure cruise.

Medvedev was due to speak at the forum on Thursday and sent his top political adviser Vladislav Surkov to the scene of the disaster.A Kremlin spokeswoman said Medvedev himself would arrive in Yaroslavl later on Wednesday.

Conference participants also held a minute of silence while the country’s hockey season kicked off with a sombre message from the deputy head of Gazprom, the company that sponsors Russia’s Continental Hockey League (KHL).

‘‘I propose that we honour the memory of the dead with a minute of silence,’’ Gazprom number two Alexander Medvedev said at the season opening in the Ural Mountains city of Ufa.

The match was later abandoned to applause from the crowd.

Three-time Russian champion Lokomotiv Yaroslavl was founded in 1959 and last won the country’s title in 2002.

‘‘I am at the airport right now,’’ the team’s general manager Yury Lukin told the R-Sport news agency.‘‘I do not know what they are saying on the news, but things here are very serious,’’ he said.
